The Lexicon of Beetles of the Czech Republic is an encyclopedic-type project, which is mainly created by compiling information from many information sources of various kinds, such as articles from periodicals, bachelor's, master's and dissertation theses, books, conference proceedings, reports from grant projects, orally transmitted information, ...
Some of these sources have a general character or are summary works that are used in the processing of most of the data within the project. On this page you will find an overview of these more general sources that were used to create most of the pages of the Encyclopedia.
