Nicrophorus Beetles Clearing the Woods

The movie shows how NICROPHORUS VESPILLOIDES, the "gravedigger" is burying a mouse. Once buried, the beetles convert the body of the mouse into a ball shaped reservoir, which serves to nourish the offspring later on.
