Abstract
Nine new records from the superfamily Bostrichoidea, family Ptinidae are presented from the Palaearctic Region; two from Morocco - Hyperisus plumbeum (Illiger, 1801) and Hemicoelus costatus (Aragona, 1830), one from Italy (Sardinia) - Gastrallus vavrai Zahradník, 2007, one from Georgia - Oligomerus brunneus (Olivier, 1790), one from Azerbaijan - Ptinomorphus magnificus (Reitter in Leder, 1880), one from Ukraine - Dorcatoma (Pilosodorcatoma) ambjoerni Baranowski, 1985), and three from Oman - Gastrallus subtilis Toskina, 1998, Xyletinus (Calypterus) bucephalus griseopilosus Toskina, 2008 and Xyletinus (Calypterus) syrius Toskina, 2008.
